Million or millions? 1º ESO B

We use million when we mention a number:

• the population is Britain is 29 million  people.

• We have 123 million dollars!

But when don't mention a number, we can say millions:

• Millions of people came to the concert!

(no number, so we say millions)

• There are millions of  animal species. 

(no number, so we say millions)
